- Derbyshire Junior Badminton aims to develop Badminton as a sport for all and provides high quality training for young players from beginners up to performance level
- We look to link with school clubs and provide a quality club and performance pathway for all young players
- Players can start with us from as young as 6 years old and progress through our system until leaving to join adult clubs.
- We manage the Junior County squads and currently have teams running at U12, U14, U16 and U18
- We have a team of highly qualified Coaches led by ex England Junior Coach James Boxall
- We use sports halls in and around Derby to deliver all of our sessions.
We currently have 4 fully coached sessions running on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings plus a Sunday morning fun club. At present we are accessing hall space at Derby University and Allestree Woodlands School with the Sunday morning club running at Etwall Leisure Centre. Our sessions normally run from school facilities and although we are currently unable to provide additional sessions as school facilities remain closed we are open for referrals and enquiries.
